Gooey Sprinkle Cookie Bars

I don’t know about you, but sprinkles make everything better! I am the type of person that doesn’t “sprinkle” sprinkles on ice cream, I dump them on! No, I am not ashamed to tell you that!

Trust me, these cookie bars are not lacking on the sprinkles! They are made with the PERFECT amount. The white chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips add an extra level of sweetness that just takes these cookie bars over the top! They are simply irresistible!

Ingredients in These Gooey Sprinkle Cookie Bars:

  • Unsalted Butter: This recipes calls for butter that has been softened to room temperature.
  • Granulated Sugar and Light Brown Sugar: This combination of granulated sugar and light brown sugar gives these cookie bars the perfect texture. The granulated sugar gives the cookie bars a slightly crispy top, while the light brown sugar gives these cookies their chewy and gooey interior!
  • Eggs: Make sure to use large eggs for this recipe.
  • Vanilla Extract: Use pure vanilla extract. Do not use imitation vanilla flavor.
  • Flour: This recipes uses all-purpose flour. Make sure to properly measure the flour using the spoon-and-level method. Adding too much flour will lead to dense and dry cookies.
  • Cornstarch: This keeps the cookie bars extra soft, chewy, and gooey!
  • Baking Soda and Baking Powder: This combination gives the cookie bars the perfect texture.
  • Salt: This balances the flavors of the cookies!
  • Sprinkles: This recipe calls for a ton of rainbow sprinkles!
  • Chocolate Chips: This recipes calls for both white chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips.
