  • 2 sticks butter unsalted
  • 3/4 brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups + 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat once the butter reaches a golden color. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl or stand stand mixer, mix together brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.
  3. Add in all purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Gently mix in chocolate chips.
  4. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  6. Scoop into balls and place on parchment lines baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature.
